rough cereal board - non photo reference
Hey all
Heres the rough initial sketches for the cereal commercial...
This story board is about the common female business woman, who cant wait to see the end of her shift each day, to only go home to a stressful environment, with the only cure being - wild pops cereal and a bath
I intend to stretch out the scenes to complete a 30 second commercial, or by possibly adding another frame to full entice the product, let me know what you think!
Thanks & Enjoy!
Heres the three scenes I chose and the rough sketches of each
Here are the color comps for the story board
These were without photo reference, new comps to come with photo reference thanks for checking it out!

Muddy
Whats up everyone,
Here's another IF illustration based on the word "muddy"
At first many "muddy" ideas ran through my head, like a pig in mud, or kids jumping in a puddle kinda concept, but I chose a different path in the end going with a comedic illustration. I kept this illustration very childishly cartoonish just for simplicities sake, although not my most detailed work, still an enjoyable piece in the end.

Cereal Ad - Luxuriate yourself
Hey all,
This is the beginning of my cereal ad, the initial sketch.
This sketch's original idea was to create a cereal ad directed towards adults, after contemplating and trying to find the best audience to attract I came up with a woman in a tub idea, I used just regular sketching pencils for this idea.
The marker comp
After cleaning up the original sketch, I added some color to see what direction I should chose to take the image afterwards, I was fully content with the idea behind this ad, but was not completely happy with the results I was obtaining with sketches an marker renderings, so I began to think about photography as an option (with the help of leifs suggestions) I then moved on to create this ad in the digital atmosphere as a photoshop image.
Final
Lastly my final... after taking many pictures with your basic everyday digital camera, I came to create this final cereal ad. I feel I captured the original idea which I was after... at first I was going to keep the scene around the tub completely blank so the message was very simple, but by adding actually elements which you would see in a bathroom made it a little more realistic, and in the end more appealing and interesting to look at

Focus on the game
Hey everyone,
Here is this weeks creation...
This image I created in Illustrator was inspired by the illustration fridays word "Focus", not knowing what to come up with initially, I tried to think of what I focus on, and many other Canadians...Hockey, with google as my guide I found a picture of Dustin Brown of the LA kings, which captured what I was trying to create, with the final result being this vector image...Enjoy!

Wilderness
Hello all!
Here's a new illustration I've created on the word "Wilderness".
This illustration idea came from a picture my brother had taken in British Colombia. I was hesitant on what medium to use, and whether to sketch a whole picture or just an image what I felt represents the wilderness. After beginning to sketch I kept it simple with light shading and the absence of a background made it stick out, enjoy!
